Welcome to Himalaya Cashmere
We are a very small cashmere manufacturer located in the beautiful
northern Indian Himalaya. Here we process the luxurious pure cashmere for you.
The exceptional cashmere goat fiber we use comes from the local nomadic herders,
the Changpas in Ladakh.
They live with their animals throughout the year on the high-altitude pastures of Changthang in the eastern part of Ladakh (4,200 - 4,900 meters). These extreme conditions produce one of the finest cashmere fibers in the world.
We spin the yarn by hand and weave it on a handloom into
enchanting, noble and authentic scarves and blankets - feel the Himalaya!
